Coming Up Soon...
It's coming soon, I swear, the Red Sox game has sort of thrown off our publishing schedule.
They almost killed a few staff members, who are recovering, mostly, in intensive care.
It's not like the staff members were at the game and were knocked about by foul balls or anything.
It's just we picked the wrong day to serve chicken satay on those really pointy sticks this week. And when David knocked in the winning run it was just too much for some, and we had a scene that looked eerily like a bunch of javelin throwers all told to chuck their spears on the count of three (without making sure there weren't any chickens in the way first).
So anyway, an intern got hit, possibly in the eye, he wouldn't move his hand so we really couldn't tell, and a few had to rush him off to the hospital and we had to draw straws to determine who had to leave the celebration and take him, because no one did, so there were a few disqualified draws. Well, the attractiveness of accompanying him got a bit better when someone else was speared with a satay, this time somewhere quite painful, indeed, and then there was a mass exodus.
Including those guys who knew how to really work the going to press machines. So there you have it.
One interesting note, to distract you from the lack of main issue, is that you geeky folks that use feed aggregators (NetNewsWire or my personal favourite, NewsFire, one of those, Mac OS X only, sorry) where you drag that little XML image thing over on the left there into the thing and it grabs the headlines for Sane for you each week, we've finally added a summary, so if you do use one of those things you can get a great idea of what the issue is all about that week. And the quality just keeps on a-comin'!
